CMourato Countertops LLC, doing business as Mourato Countertops (“Mourato Countertops,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, disclose, and protect information provided through our website, forms, telephone calls, text messages, email, and project communications.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
• Your name, telephone number, email address, and job address
• Your preferred contact method
• Project type and project details
• Material, color, and style preferences
• Approximate measurements
• Desired project timeline
• Appointment-date or time requests
• Photographs, drawings, cabinet plans, and other files you provide
• Communications with Mourato Countertops
• SMS-consent choices, consent records, and opt-out or resubscription activity
• Other information you intentionally provide concerning an estimate, project, complaint, warranty issue, or service request
We do not ask customers to provide passwords, PINs, one-time verification codes, full payment-card numbers, CVVs, online-banking credentials, or similar authentication information through ordinary virtual-assistant conversations, text messages, email, or website forms.
How We Use Information
We may use information to:
• Respond to estimate and service requests
• Review countertop, cabinet, and other project needs
• Communicate about estimate requests, requested appointments, project information, scheduling, fabrication, installation, and customer-service matters
• Request photographs, measurements, drawings, or plans when helpful
• Route leads, questions, complaints, damage reports, warranty concerns, safety matters, or other issues to Chris or the office
• Maintain customer, project, consent, and business records
• Operate and secure our website, communications, and approved business systems
• Meet accounting, tax, contractual, warranty, legal, security, insurance, fraud-prevention, and dispute-related obligations
Submitting a preferred appointment date or time does not create a confirmed appointment. Chris or the office must confirm all appointments, pricing, schedules, warranty decisions, refunds, and other matters reserved for human approval.
Text Messaging
Mourato Countertops is preparing a customer-service and project-related SMS program. Automated SMS and AVA texting will not begin until the program has been properly registered, configured, tested, and approved.
If and when the program becomes available, customers may affirmatively agree to receive text messages concerning:
• Estimate requests
• Appointment requests
• Project information
• Requests for project details
• Customer-service follow-up
Message frequency varies based on your request and project activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not required to purchase goods or services.
The website’s SMS-consent checkbox will be optional and unchecked by default. If you submit an estimate request without selecting the optional SMS-consent checkbox, we will not initiate an automated SMS solely because you submitted the form.
Customer-service and project-message consent is separate from promotional marketing consent. Consent to receive estimate or project communications will not be treated as permission to send unsolicited promotional or marketing text messages.
If you reply STOP or use another supported opt-out keyword, automated SMS must stop. If supported by the approved messaging system, you may later reply START to resubscribe to the customer-service and project-related SMS program. Resubscription does not create consent for promotional or marketing messages.
Mobile Information and Messaging Consent
We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile telephone number or messaging-consent information to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from unrelated data-sharing activities and will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Information may be processed by specifically approved service providers when reasonably necessary to operate our website, deliver communications requested by the customer, maintain consent and opt-out records, protect security, or meet legal obligations. Those providers may use the information only for their approved operational functions and not for unrelated marketing.
Approved Systems and Service Providers
We limit information provided to approved systems and service providers to what is reasonably necessary for their functions.
• Wix operates the Mourato Countertops website and approved website forms. Wix may process and store information you intentionally submit through those forms.
• Business email may process project communications, privacy requests, photographs, measurements, drawings, plans, and other information you intentionally email to us.
• Microsoft OneDrive may be used for approved internal business rules, configuration documents, compliance records, testing documentation, and other approved internal files. Complete customer conversations, submissions, and attachments are not automatically copied into OneDrive without separate review and approval.
• Twilio is intended to support Mourato Countertops’ future business telephone and text-messaging functions. If the SMS program is approved and activated, Twilio may process necessary messages, delivery information, consent and opt-out status, and HELP, STOP, and START activity.
• OpenAI has been approved in principle as a possible AI provider for AVA, but no live customer-data connection is currently authorized. Customer information will not be processed through a live OpenAI/AVA connection unless the integration architecture, privacy configuration, permissions, testing, and activation are separately approved.
We do not authorize an additional CRM, marketing platform, external database, lead-storage system, analytics service, cloud-storage provider, or other third-party service to receive AVA customer information unless CMourato Countertops LLC separately reviews and approves that provider and its use.
Customer submissions, SMS conversations, photographs, measurements, plans, and attachments will not be automatically copied between approved providers unless the specific transfer has been reviewed and approved.
Access and Security
Access to customer information is limited to Chris, authorized office staff, and specifically approved service providers that require access to perform their approved functions.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect customer information. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Retention
Estimate inquiries and leads that never become customers should be deleted or anonymized after two years, unless there is a legitimate business, legal, security, or dispute-related reason to retain them longer.
Completed customer and project records are generally retained for seven years. Records may be retained longer when required or reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, contractual, warranty, legal, security, insurance, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing:
CMourato Countertops LLC will review the request before taking action. We may be unable to delete information that we are required or have a legitimate need to retain for accounting, tax, contracts, warranties, disputes, security, fraud prevention, insurance, or other legal or business obligations.
We will not promise deletion before determining whether the information must or reasonably should be retained.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
