SMS Terms & Conditions
Effective date: September 3, 2026
These SMS Terms & Conditions apply to the future customer-service and project-related text-messaging program offered by CMourato Countertops LLC, doing business as Mourato Countertops.
The SMS program is not yet live. It will not be activated until registration, configuration, privacy, consent, security, routing, and controlled testing requirements have been completed and approved.
Program Description
If and when the SMS program becomes available, Mourato Countertops may send customer-service and project-related messages concerning:
• Estimate requests
• Appointment-date or time requests
• Countertop and cabinet project information
• Requests for measurements, photographs, drawings, or plans
• Project communication and scheduling information
• Customer-service questions and follow-up
• Human review or escalation when necessary
The program does not authorize unsolicited promotional or marketing text messages.
A requested appointment date or time is not confirmed until Chris or the office confirms it. An SMS message does not constitute approval of pricing, an appointment, a schedule, warranty coverage, a refund, a payment arrangement, a project change, or another matter reserved for Chris or the office.
How Customers Consent
Customers may consent to receive customer-service and project-related messages by:
1. Affirmatively selecting the optional SMS-consent checkbox on an approved Mourato Countertops website form; or
2. Initiating a text conversation with Mourato Countertops after the business texting number and SMS program become active; or
3. Using another consent method that CMourato Countertops LLC has specifically approved and documented.
The website checkbox will be optional and unchecked by default. Customers may submit an estimate request without selecting it.
The approved website disclosure will state:
“I agree to receive text messages from Mourato Countertops about my estimate request, appointment requests, project information, and customer-service follow-up at the mobile number I provided. Message frequency varies based on my request and project activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not required to purchase goods or services. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms & Conditions.”
Consent applies only to the types of communications described when consent is obtained. Customer-service and project-message consent is not consent to receive promotional or marketing messages.
Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing goods or services.
Automatic Estimate-Request Confirmation
If a customer submits the Request a Free Estimate form and affirmatively selects the optional SMS-consent checkbox, the approved future system may send this automatic confirmation:
“Mourato Countertops: We received your estimate request. Chris or the office will review your information and contact you about pricing and next steps. Message frequency varies based on your request and project activity. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.”
This confirmation:
• Does not confirm an appointment
• Does not provide, calculate, or approve pricing
• Does not promise a schedule or completion date
• Does not represent that Chris personally reviewed the request
If the checkbox is not selected, an automated SMS will not be initiated solely because the estimate form was submitted.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies based on your request and project activity.
Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless-service plan.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to opt out.
The messaging system may also recognize other supported opt-out keywords, including STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, and OPTOUT.
After an opt-out request, automated SMS to that number will stop. Mourato Countertops will not argue with an opt-out request, attempt to persuade the customer to remain subscribed, or continue automated customer-service or project messages.
The approved opt-out confirmation is:
“Mourato Countertops: You have opted out and will receive no further automated text messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.”
A manual process will not be used to bypass a messaging-platform opt-out.
Resubscription
If supported by the approved messaging system, reply START to resubscribe to the customer-service and project-related SMS program.
An affirmative START message may serve as the customer’s resubscription action for this program. Resubscription does not create consent to receive promotional or marketing messages.
Help
Reply HELP for help.
The approved automatic HELP response is:
“Mourato Countertops: For help with estimate or project messages, call 401-612-5018 or email mouratocountertops@icloud.com. Message frequency varies based on your request and project activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Mourato Countertops does not promise a specific human-response time. If additional assistance is required, the matter may be routed to Chris or the office through the approved human-escalation process.
Consent Records
Mourato Countertops may preserve available records showing:
• Mobile number
• Consent or opt-out status
• Consent, opt-out, or resubscription date and time
• Keyword or consent method
• Website or form source
• Applicable consent disclosure or version
• Request or submission identifier needed to associate consent with the correct request
These records are maintained subject to the Mourato Countertops Privacy Policy and approved retention rules.
Privacy
We do not share, sell, rent, or provide mobile telephone numbers or messaging-consent information to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
